Are additional service reservoirs, strategically located around Palehua, a possibility? Could small reservoirs be machine-dug and lined with flexible containment liner in some of the natural drainages on the mountain to capture/hold rainwater runoff for the purpose of providing a more advantageous source to combat wildfires?

We recently found out that our cousin, architect and co-owner of ADM Retail Planning & Architecture in Honolulu, was Vladimir Nicholas Ossipoff's last intern. Grant Sumile (married to our cousin, Julie) is well known for his design work on all ABC Stores. Grant interned under Ossipoff in the late 1990's and worked with him on his final project. Grant would love to see the Ossipoff house at Palehua sometime.
